Urban designer / planner / architect. ACL International Investment Company, Dubai, UAE. 1994-1999
Project:
- (Global Village) an architectural master plan for a 45 acres of land located in north of Tehran.
The comprehensive plan included luxury hotels, shopping mall, residential and commercial development, health spa, parking facilities, and a paradise garden.
I was in charge of original concept, creation of thematic cultural image of the project, programming, schematic design and all the coordination with project consultants.

Major Projects:
- Hershey Company, New Corporate Headquarters, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Conceptual design and design development. This project included a new corporate headquarters, computer center, and the remodeling of the old chocolate factory for administration and office spaces.
- Children Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. My responsibility was to make a feasibility study and conceptual design for a new children hospital located in the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
- Himont, Research and Development Technology Center, Elkton, Maryland.
I was responsible for feasibility study, programming, concept design and design development. The overall master plan in this project included Phase I and Phase II, a comprehensive program including laboratories, offices for scientists and technicians, commons, administration, high bay storage and support areas. The emphasis was to create a visually impressive architectural landscape design for the entire master plan.
- Saint Elizabeth Hospital, New Jersey.
My role was to develop feasibility study, programming and master plan.
- Bowman Gray School of Medicine, North Carolina.
My responsibility was to develop feasibility study, programming, conceptual design, Schematic design.
Project Designer. TKLP, the Kling-Lindquist Partnership, Architecture Engineering, Interior Design, Philadelphia, PA. 1980-1987.
Major Projects:
- Community College of Philadelphia. Extension to the existing college.
I was responsible for design development and working drawings.
- Critikon, Corporate Office in Tampa, Florida.
I was responsible for conceptual design drawings, delineation, all the perspective rendering, design development and working drawings.
- Boehringer Ingelheim Corporate Office Center in Connecticut.
I was responsible for the partial schematic design, and working drawings.
- 45-story Girard-Fidelity Building in Philadelphia.
I was responsible for Conceptual design, all the delineations, and schematic design
- Eleven Penn Center, 35-Story High Rise Office Building in Philadelphia.
This was a project for Radner Corporation, a Sun Oil subsidiary.
I was responsible for the initial feasibility study and conceptual design and all the marketing delineation. I was also in charge of schematic and design development, and working drawings.
- Merrill Lynch Corporate Training Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
This corporate training center was a large complex of over two million SF. The master plan for Merrill Lynch complex included three distinguished compartments well integrated: corporate office, training center, faculty/students housing and recreational facilities. I was responsible for the faculty/students facilities and commons and developed this part of the project from conceptual design through schematic design, design development and working drawing.
- Egyptian National Petroleum Company (ENPC), Headquarters in Cairo.
Kling Lindquist was selected by Egyptian Government to take part in an international design competition for ENPC. As a senior designer on this project, I was responsible to develop a conceptual design in metric system which satisfied a complex and unique program for the building. The climatic condition, local building technology had to be incorporated into the design concept while the idea of a high-tech building was of paramount importance.
- Ethyl Corporation, Office and Commercial Complex, Richmond, Virginia.
As a project designer, my responsibility was to develop an architectural master plan for Ethyl Corporation including a corporate tower office building, conference center independent from the tower, and commercial complex. An urban design approach considering a rational space planning concept which satisfied the Ethyl program became the design vocabulary for this project.
Private Practice, 1981-present
I have done architectural/landscape design for twelve residential buildings, seven commercial buildings and two sport centers in overseas. I have also designed three single homes and entered two national competitions in United States. My private practice has been involved in many consulting works for architectural/urban planning projects.
